The fantastic Scottish Recovery Network have just launched a new set of resources, spotlighting insights and inspiration from people across Scotland on staying well during and after COVID-19 lockdown.
‘Staying Connected’ captures the knowledge, skills and expertise of people with lived experience of mental health challenges across Scotland. Through a series of twelve online conversation cafes these participants came together to share their diverse experiences and learn from each other . SRN believes that these voices are vital in shaping how we approach mental health and wellbeing support as we move through and out of lockdown.
We had the opportunity to support the development of these resources, collaborating with SRN to create a digital platform for the powerful voices of participants through the ‘Staying Connected’ animation and podcast. Using digital tools to share stories about mental health is what we thrive on here at Mind Waves, so we were delighted to work in partnership to spotlight these important voices in creative and meaningful ways!
You can view the animation, listen to the podcast and download SRN’s full ‘Staying Connected’ report here. They have also made a BSL version of the video available.
