Join our Anti-Stigma Podcasting Team

How do money worries affect your mental health? And how can mental ill health make you poorer?

We’re looking for people who have lived experience to be part of our editorial team for a podcast series about the connections between mental health, poverty and stigma.  We have been funded by the See Me Anti-Stigma Arts Fund to deliver this project.  Our first training day will take place on Wednesday 23rd April from 10.30-11.30am at Project Ability, 103 Trongate, Glasgow

You’ll be fully supported to produce, edit and publish a podcast that explores the many ways that money, mental health and stigma can affect each other.  The full role description and details of the commitmentrequired can be found here.  If you are keen to make a difference through podcast production then simply contact marie@mindwavesnews.com who will chat you through the next steps!

Come along to our daytime open mic session

Do you have music or words that you’d like to share as part of an inclusive, supportive and encouraging group? Would you like to collaborate on songwriting and creative work?

Thanks to the Glasgow Communities Wellbeing Fund we are now building on the popular  Community Jam Session series we ran in 2023/24.  There is an open floor for performers, chances to develop creative ideas as a group, or to simply enjoy the music and have a cuppa in good company!

Our weekly sessions begin on Thursday 24th April from 11.00-12.30 at Project Ability, 103 Trongate, Glasgow. Simply contact marie@mindwavesnews.com to register your interest!

Mind Waves would like to extend grateful thanks to GCVS Glasgow Wellbeing Fund and the See Me Anti-Stigma Arts Fund for their support.
